UPS provider dies in trash compactor accident at Dallas facility

A UPS salesman has died after the victim allegedly fell into a trash compactor at a UPS facility in Dallas on Thursday, according to a report from WFAA:

“Dallas Fire-Rescue officials said in a news release that they were dispatched just before 11 a.m. to a UPS facility at 10155 Monroe Drive in northwest Dallas where someone was reported to have “fallen into a trash compactor.”

“The fire department’s search and rescue team responded and extracted the man, but he died at the scene, officials said.

“UPS officials said in a statement that the man was a UPS supplier and that the company was “cooperating with authorities” to investigate the incident.”
