Eric Hylden has been a photographer at the Grand Forks Herald since 1986.

He is an alumnus of North Dakota State University and grew up on a dairy farm near Park River, North Dakota.

Hylden began his career as a part-time photographer at the Grand Forks Herald in 1984 and is a past president of the Dakota Press Photographer’s Association.
