Child seriously injured in drunk driving accident in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, CALIFORNIA (July 19, 2024) – A one-year-old baby was seriously injured in a collision with a possibly drunk driver on Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brooklyn.

According to the New York Police Department, the accident occurred on Monday around 7 p.m. A driver ran a red light on Mother Gaston Boulevard and collided with an Acura TLX.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene to help the victims. A one-year-old boy suffered a skull fracture and was taken to hospital in critical condition.

The cause of the accident is suspected to be drunkenness on the part of the driver. The investigation into the accident in Brooklyn is currently ongoing.
