Cal State San Bernardino student reported missing in Los Angeles

Authorities are searching for a Cal State San Bernardino student who went missing in Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the missing woman was identified as 23-year-old Nitheesha Kandula.


Kandula was last seen in Los Angeles on May 28. Her relatives reported her missing two days later.

She is described as a woman who is 1.68 m tall and weighs approximately 72 kg. She has black hair and dark eyes.

Her car may be a 2021 Toyota Corolla with the license plate 9KXU509. The color of the car is unknown, police said.

The LAPD did not release any further details about her last known whereabouts.
