Megan Thee Stallion Concert Dates in Atlanta

ATLANTA — After Megan Thee Stallion’s first two Atlanta tour dates were canceled due to ongoing issues with the city’s major water main breaks, both dates have been postponed.

Friday’s concert date was rescheduled yesterday to Sunday evening, and its canceled Saturday night performance was rescheduled for Monday evening, at State Farm Arena. tweeted on.

Both concerts are expected to proceed normally after one of two water main breaks, this one in downtown Atlanta, was repaired Saturday afternoon.

A State Farm Arena spokesperson released a statement Saturday evening saying that after speaking with Mayor Andre Dickens’ office, the city of Atlanta “is unable to host Megan’s show Thee Stallion…”

In a statement on the X platform On Friday evening, the rapper wrote that she was “extremely disappointed” to have to postpone her concert because of a “surprise” she had in store for her.

“But we will follow the mayor’s protocol,” she wrote, adding that she was “praying for the people who have lost access to water because of this situation.”

So, despite the delays and the frustration of many spectators, the shows will continue.
