A man was recently arrested for attempting to break into Will Smith’s Los Angeles mansion, Page Six can confirm.

A spokesperson for the Malibu/Lost Hill Sheriff’s Station told Page Six on Tuesday that police received a call from a suspicious person on the afternoon of May 1 at approximately 4:06 p.m. PT.

We’re told officers were initially told the suspect was near Smith’s residence, but then a second call came in telling officers the same person had made it onto the movie star’s property.

According to TMZ, Smith’s security team intervened during the ordeal and arrested the man before he could actually make it into the Men In Black star’s home.

The suspect – identified as 37-year-old Robert Ogden – was arrested for trespassing.

According to online data, he was charged with a misdemeanor. The description states that it is a black man who weighs 90 kilograms, is 1.80 meters tall, has a bald head and has brown eyes.

The public information officer confirmed to Page Six that the suspect was no longer in custody as of Tuesday afternoon. Online records also show a May 3 release date for Ogden.

Page Six reached out to Smith’s representatives for comment but did not immediately receive a response. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air alum has not addressed the incident on social media.

Smith was reportedly not home at the time of the break-in, and the police spokesperson confirmed to us that “it does not appear” that anyone was injured, as that information is not detailed in his report.

Unfortunately, the Smith family has been the victim of other home break-ins in the past.

In 2015, a woman named Ariel Archer was charged with trespassing and sentenced to three years probation after forcing her way into the property of Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

The famous family’s housekeeper reportedly found the woman in the kitchen and called the police.

Home break-ins seem to be becoming more and more common in Los Angeles. Many celebrities have been targeted, including Valerie Bertinelli, John Mayer and, more recently, Netflix star Farrah Aldjufrie.

The “Buying Beverly Hills” star, the eldest daughter of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards, was robbed of her luxury items in her home in broad daylight.
