MSP investigates shooting in Midland Co.

MIDLAND CO., Michigan (WNEM) – According to Michigan State Police, a crime scene investigation is currently underway at a residence in Midland County.

MSP said a shooting victim arrived at a West Michigan hospital with serious injuries Thursday evening, Sept. 12, seeking medical treatment.

According to MSP, preliminary investigations indicate the shooting occurred at a residence on W. Olson Road in Sanford.

There are no suspects at large, MSP said, adding that there is no danger to the public.

The incident is still under investigation.
