One man dead, another seriously injured in double stabbing in Brockton, police say – Boston 25 News

BROCKTON, Massachusetts – A double stabbing in Brockton Monday night that left one man dead and another seriously injured is under investigation.

According to police, a report was received around 6:48 p.m. that two people had been stabbed in the area of ​​23 Melrose Avenue.

Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that authorities described as “serious.” The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office said one of the victims died.

The identity of the deceased man is not currently being disclosed.

Investigators are still searching for the suspect involved and say this incident does not appear to have been a random incident.

The incident remains under investigation by Brockton Police and Plymouth County State Police Detectives.
