Gerald Goines back in court for 2019 Houston Harding Street shooting

HOUSTON (CW39) He is charged in connection with the deadly Harding Street raid that killed Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas in 20-19.

Goines was initially charged with witness tampering, falsifying records and violating the rights of Nicholas and Tuttle…who were killed in the Jan. 28, 2019, raid on their home at 7815 Harding St. Prosecutors said Goines, who was the lead agent on the case, lied about drug activity to obtain the warrant.

Jury selection is expected to take six weeks, with testimony expected to begin in September.
