Man found dead in Tampa, cause under investigation

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Officials are investigating the death of a man in Tampa, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

A press release from the HCSO said officers were called to South 78th Street around 6:35 a.m. after a man was reported dead.

The cause of the man’s death is not yet known. However, officials said that the man’s death was an isolated incident and there is no acute threat to the public.
