Woman struck and killed by car in southwest Atlanta

Atlanta police are investigating a death in southwest Atlanta.

Early Sunday, around 5:30 a.m., police said they were called to Campbellton Road about a person being hit.

Police arrived on scene and found a woman who had been hit by a car.

Police said she died at the scene.
