Joe Buck, ABC/ESPN play-by-play announcer for the Cincinnati Bengals’ Week 3 NFL Monday Night Football matchup with the Washington Commanders, told ESPN anchor Scott Van Pelt that he sees the game as a “must win” for Cincinnati after a 0-2 start to the season and understand why the Bengals are favored to win.

Buck and Troy Aikman called for the Bengals’ overtime win against the Jacksonville Jaguars last December.

“I don’t feel any panic,” Buck said. “Yeah, been there, done that. It’s kind of crazy for all the talent they have and the head coach they have and to be 0-2 again? And for Zac Taylor, five times in six years? It’s just weird. I don’t know how they lost to the Patriots. They could have easily won in Kansas City, so I expect them to play well tonight. We’ll talk about the injury wrist with Joe Burrow game he must and must win.”
