“Police operation” in front of Kensington Olympia paralyzes Overground and Southern train services

A “police incident” outside Kensington Olympia has led to the suspension of London Overground services between Shepherd’s Bush and Clapham Junction.

Southern trains between Watford Junction and Clapham Junction have also been disrupted by the incident, which is expected to affect the morning rush hour on Monday. According to National Rail Enquiries, emergency services are dealing with an “incident” which has resulted in line closures. Disruptions are expected to last until 7:30am.

“Until further notice, no trains will be able to run between Shepherds Bush and Clapham Junction. This will impact Southern services between Watford Junction and East Croydon with trains being cancelled or terminated early.

“Please allow an additional 30 minutes for the journey as you will need to use an alternative route. Up-to-date information can be found in the journey planners and on the screens at the stations,” it says.

Meanwhile, the District Line between Ealing Common and Ealing Broadway is closed due to a signal failure.
