The Buffalo Bills saw the emergence of James Cook as their No. 1 running back last season.

Cook, in his first full season as Buffalo’s leading rusher, rushed for 1,122 yards. This helped him earn his first Pro Bowl nod.

Not bad for a guy “too small” to be a rear end.

Even so, the modern NFL typically sees teams with multiple runners in each team’s backfield. The Bills are no different and fourth-round rookie Ray Davis was selected by Buffalo in the 2024 NFL Draft to potentially be that guy.

With that, ESPN released its 2024 NFL projections, including rankings for each running back group in the league. Where does the Bills backfield stand among the rest of football?
