Elmwood Avenue, from Iroquois Drive to Virginia Street, will be closed to all traffic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The closure could impact other main streets east and west of Buffalo, said a city spokesperson, who urged motorists to prepare for delays in and around the 2-mile parade route.

The Pride parade usually attracts thousands of revelers. It features brightly decorated floats and costumed marchers. A Pride Festival will follow from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Canalside.

The parade and festival are organized by Evergreen Health Foundation, an affiliate of Evergreen Health, and sponsored by Evergreen Health and M&T Bank.
