NWS weather warning issued for greater Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE – The National Weather Service has issued a special weather warning for the Milwaukee metropolitan area and parts of the north.

Residents can expect wind speeds of up to 80 km/h. Hailstones up to half an inch in size are possible.

Friday: Showers likely before 1pm, then showers and possible thunderstorms likely between 1pm and 2pm, isolated showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, high around 24°C. Southeast wind 16 to 24 km/h. Chance of precipitation 60%. New precipitation amounts between 0.35 and 1.32 cm possible.

Friday night: Showers and possible thunderstorms before 11 p.m., then isolated showers and thunderstorms between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. Low around 52. South wind around 10 mph, becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation 80%. New precipitation amounts between 0.25 and 0.5 inches possible.
