According to an investigation, poorly maintained tracks were cited as the reason for the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express accident. Hasty conclusions by railway officials have only complicated the matter further.

The incidents highlight the challenges faced by the Indian Railways in maintaining safety and efficiency across its vast network. The leaked video and the derailment investigation essentially highlight the need for a robust infrastructure maintenance system and transparent communication with the public.
