NOTICE: METRO Adjusts Services During Hurricane Beryl Recovery Efforts

HOUSTON (KIAH) – Hurricane recovery efforts in Houston are still ongoing and as a result, METRO will provide modified service on Tuesday, July 8 until further notice.

According to METRO bus network authorities, full service will be resumed as soon as possible.


Due to hurricane recovery efforts, METRO is experiencing some service interruptions. Park-and-ride the service remains suspended and the Local bus Service is expected to begin at 8 a.m. Some routes will be closed.

METRO will provide bus shuttles as resources become available. Lanes reserved for high-occupancy vehicles (HOV) and hot passenger vehicles (HPO) are also closed, and Metro is suspended on ALL three lines. METROLift And sidewalk to sidewalk will resume service at 8 a.m. Check the METRO website for details.
