Four dead and three injured after shooting in house in Florence

FLORENCE, Kentucky (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Four people are dead in a shooting at a home Saturday morning.

According to Florence police, several calls were received shortly before 3 a.m. about an active shooter

Upon arrival, seven people were found in the house.

According to police, four people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Three others were taken to hospital and are in critical but stable condition.

The victims were identified as 20-year-old Shane Miller, 20-year-old Hayden Rybicki, 19-year-old Delaney Eary and 44-year-old Melissa Parrett.

According to police, the suspect was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, the suspect then fled the scene and was later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

He was identified as 21-year-old Chase Garvey.

This is an ongoing investigation within the Florence Police Department.
