Several vehicles were in the ditch

MILWAUKEE – An accident on I-41/US-45 northbound near Appleton Ave. in Milwaukee left several vehicles stuck in a ditch and caused significant traffic jams on Sunday, June 16.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, an MCSO unit responded to a stalled vehicle that was located in a ditch off the highway near Florist.

Due to the heavy rain, a car skidded and crashed into the patrol car waiting to be towed.

Several vehicles were in the ditch

One of the vehicles involved overturned. The driver was OK, but was initially unable to leave his vehicle.

Neither the deputy nor the person in the patrol car were injured.
