‘The Voice’ Winner Asher HaVon Dazzles Home Crowd With Flawless Performance of Whitney Houston

After spending several years trying to break into the music industry, Asher HaVon finally found his niche at age 32 when he competed on The voice. Thanks to his incredible voice and the help of coach Reba McEntire, the singer not only dazzled on stage, but also demonstrated the raw power of his voice. And this power helped him become the last winner of The voice. And taking advantage of his newfound fame, HaVon recently made it a special day for fans when he performed Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” while holding her hand.

I haven’t wasted any time since my victory The voice, HaVon has performed several times since the show ended. And during his recent performance in his home state of Alabama, which he shared on Instagram, the singer took a fan’s hand while singing “I Will Always Love You.” And as if that wasn’t enough, he did it while crouching down.

Receiving praise from fans, some pointed out the incredible talent that HaVon possessed. “Singing like that while squatting!” Damn it, Asher! Are you really human? Asher HaVon reveals how he struggled with himself on ‘The Voice’

In May, HaVon sat down with American Songwriter to discuss his time on The voice and how broken he was. During the blind auditions, the singer saw three coaches turn their chairs. But at the time, HaVon was struggling with himself. “Going into the show, I was broken. I was so broke and lost. I was confused about what I was supposed to do, I didn’t understand my destiny, even though for so long I had been told, “You are such a great singer.” But when that doesn’t happen, you think, “Maybe that’s not the case.” Maybe I should do something else.

Upon joining Team Reba, HaVon quickly found her drive and purpose, insisting, “The validation that came when Reba turned her chair solidified my purpose and what I thought I was supposed to do – and that is singing.” »
