New Pittsburgh police officer arrested for drunk driving – WPXI

PITTSBURGH – Multiple sources told 11 Investigates that a new Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officer was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

Sources told lead investigator Rick Earle that the arrest took place over the weekend in Franklin Park.

We were told the officer graduated from the Pittsburgh Police Academy and is completing on-the-job training.

Pittsburgh Public Safety issued a brief statement to Channel regarding the arrest. It reads:

“The office was notified of this summons for arrest on May 25th out of town. The individual is currently on paid administrative leave pending an internal review.”
