National Ice Cream Day: A Look at the Offerings

(WJET/WFXP) — July 21 marks National Ice Cream Day, and many places are offering freebies and deals to celebrate the day.

This day is actually a federally recognized day, as it was officially recognized by then-President Ronald Reagan in 1984. In the proclamation, he officially designated the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day and also declared the entire month of July to be “National Ice Cream Month.”
