The Astros may have lost to the Texas Rangers on Sunday, but outfielder Jake Meyers’ home run off the free-throw pole in the rivalry game guaranteed a free Chick-fil-A for the Houston faithful.

Meyers’ solo home run in the bottom of the third inning of the 4-2 loss bounced off Chick-fil-A’s foul pole in left field at Minute Maid Park, securing a free chicken sandwich for Houston-area customers using the fast-food chain’s mobile app.

Fans can claim a free chicken sandwich, available Monday only, at Houston-area locations by signing up for the Chick-fil-A app and using your phone’s location services.

This is the third time this season that the Astros have delivered free chicken sandwiches to their fans.

Star second baseman Jose Altuve sparked the promotion in April with a home run and Alex Bregman did it again in early June, both off the same left-field foul pole.
