LEXINGTON, Kentucky (FOX 56) – Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a gas station Sunday morning.

According to Lexington police, the robbery occurred around 10:40 a.m. at Thornton’s in the area of ​​Georgetown Road and Nandino Blvd.


Authorities described the suspected robber as a black man and said he was last seen in the area of ​​Georgetown Road and New Circle Road.

The man is said to have stolen an unknown amount of cash and alcohol.
