Invest Buffalo Niagara to relocate to Brisbane building

In February 2021, the mortgage division of HUNT Real Estate Corp. has opened its new headquarters on the second floor of the historic Brisbane building at 403 Main Street. Since then, Brisbane Realty Associates, LLC has continued to make a number of investments in the building, from crucial façade improvements to the construction of a fully restored lobby. To add to the excitement, the building is now home to the C. Stuart and Jane H. Hunt Art Gallery and Beebe’s (a new avant-garde events venue).

Today, Invest Buffalo Niagara (InBN) – the region’s non-profit, privately funded economic development organization focused on attracting business and talent – announced it will be moving into the Brisbane Building , citing a number of reasons for the move, including its commitment to Buffalo’s central business district, access to staff amenities, flexible space for modern and hybrid work models, and reduced overhead costs to move for critical operations.

For the past eight years, Invest Buffalo Niagara has operated at 257 W Genesee Street. The Brisbane Building’s new office environment brings staff closer to Metro Rail, restaurants and cafes, city squares and activities along Main Street.

“We’re obviously very optimistic about what we’re all building here in Western New York and downtown Buffalo, and we’re excited to be a part of it with our move to Main Street and the Brisbane Building,” said Tom Kucharski, Invest Buffalo Niagara, President and CEO.

We are delighted that InBN has chosen to relocate to the historic Brisbane building,” said Robert G. McDonnell, Chairman of Hunt Commercial. “Over the past few years, Peter and Stephen Hunt have invested significant funds to reposition the building to attract tenants like Invest Buffalo Niagara in this ‘flight to quality’ of the post-Covid real estate market. The welcome addition of IBN further cements the Brisbane Building as a premier location in the CBD.

InBN will begin its occupancy on July 1, 2024.
