ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports This free agent outside linebacker Bud Dupree concluded a visit with the Los Angeles Chargers. Schefter also reported that Dupree had “spoken” with the Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers, both of whom he previously played with.

In 16 games last season, Dupree recorded 39 total tackles (17 solo), eight tackles for loss (2nd most on the team), and 6.5 sacks (tied for first on the team) for the Atlanta Falcons. He also added three pass deflections, two forced fumbles and eight quarterback hits.

Dupree spent six years in Pittsburgh and had his most productive year in 2019, when he recorded a career-high in tackles (68), solo tackles (49), tackles for loss (16), quarterback hits (17), forced fumbles (4) and sacks (11.5).

In his age-31 season, the Falcons could use his production and ability to establish advantages in their outside linebacker rotation.
