Barbara T. Babs Houston She and her husband, Joseph E. Joe Houston, shared more than 41 years of marriage. Barbara was the rock of her family, the glue that held everything together. She truly loved her entire family with all her heart and loved spending time with them most of all. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (Arnold) Mastropieri. Babs was an inside sales representative at Reeb Millwork for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors: Beloved husband, Joe; his daughter, Tara M. Szy, her husband, Richard W. Szy, Jr. and their daughter Emily of Bethlehem; brothers, Francis Puggy Mastropieri of Bethlehem, Anthony Tony Mastropieri and his wife, Deborah of Allentown, John Yogi Mastropieri of Bethlehem and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem. Services will begin Thursday morning with prayers at 9:15 a.m. at Long Funeral Home and will continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem.
