Three people shot near Pilot Travel Center in North Palm Springs

According to radio reports, three people were found shot to death near the Pilot Travel Center on North Indian Canyon Drive in North Palm Springs on Sunday afternoon.

KESQ-TV reports that two male victims were found with gunshot wounds in a vehicle near the intersection of N Indian Canyon Dr. and Garnet Avenue.

Police also discovered another man under the Interstate 10 overpass who had apparently inflicted a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

An investigation is ongoing and a section of North Indian Canyon Drive to the Garnet Avenue turnoff remains closed.
