Pinellas County man dies after falling into yard and hitting tree

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A Pinellas County man was killed in a car crash Monday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to police reports, a 42-year-old Tarpon Springs man was driving west on Flora Avenue in Pasco County when he lost control.

The man’s Chevrolet Suburban then crashed into a person’s front yard and hit a tree.

According to the FHP, the man was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The FHP report did not state why the man got out of control.
