Atlanta Braves News: Kelenic and Murphy avoid disaster, series split, more

Well, the Braves avoided disaster in Boston, surviving two major injuries with seemingly minimal impact. Sean Murphy looked like he was in for another lengthy absence after returning from his oblique injury, but he appears to only need a few days. Jarred Kelenic also appeared to have a serious wrist injury on Wednesday, but he appears to be doing pretty well. The series itself was mediocre, as Max Fried was brilliant once again and the offense looked lively on Tuesday, followed by a less promising outing from Spencer Schwellenbach and a lifeless offensive performance. Overall, splitting a two-game series and getting these relatively positive injury results is good enough for me to take Fenway, but I hope they can win this next series against Washington.
