Person taken to hospital after incident in Woolwich apartment block

One person was taken to hospital following an incident in a block of flats in Woolwich.

The incident occurred at 7.15am on June 3 at a house in Nightingale Vale near Engineer Close.

A paramedic crew, a paramedic and a London Ambulance Service incident commander were on scene.

The person was treated at the scene and then transported to a major trauma center where his condition is unknown.

The nature of the incident remains unknown.

We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for further information.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 7.15am on Monday 3 June to an incident in Nightingale Vale, SE18.

“We have dispatched resources to the scene, including a paramedic crew, a paramedic and a crisis response officer.

“We also dispatched a London Air Ambulance trauma team consisting of a doctor and a paramedic in a car.

“We treated a patient on site before transferring him to a major trauma center as a priority.”
