Police: Man allegedly sent inappropriate text messages to young family members

SENECA FALLS, NY – A man was arrested Saturday after police accused him of sending vulgar messages to young family members.

Seneca Falls police said 50-year-old Adam J. Christensen was arrested on June 1 on three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of aggravated sexual abuse. Police said the arrest stemmed from allegations that Christensen sent “vulgar and obscene” messages to his young family members.

Officials say Christensen also made threats of physical violence in the messages. He was arrested and taken to the Seneca County Jail, where he awaits arraignment. A protective order has been filed on behalf of the victims.
