Vermont man arrested for drunk driving in Dorset town

Vermont State Police arrested 68-year-old Terry L. Campney of Dorset, VT, on suspicion of drunken driving Saturday morning.

Shortly after 1am, police responded to the scene of a car crash in the Morse Hill Road area of ​​the Dorset town.

Upon arrival, Campney was identified as the driver and while speaking with police officers, they observed several signs that Campney was impaired.

Campney was arrested and taken to the Manchester Police Department for case processing, state police said.

He was released on summons and is scheduled to appear at a later date before the Criminal Division of the Vermont Supreme Court in Bennington.
