One dead in accident on I-8 near College Area

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — One person was killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 8 in the College Area Friday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol incident report, the accident was reported shortly before 7 p.m. on eastbound I-8 west of College Avenue.

The four left lanes on eastbound I-8 were temporarily closed, Caltrans San Diego said.
