2 people killed, several others injured after shooting in Lancaster

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, two people died and several others were injured in a shooting in Lancaster on Wednesday evening.

The shooting occurred around 6 p.m. in the 800 block of Avenue J-12. Officials could not confirm the number of injured. Investigators said the two victims, both men, were taken to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced dead.

On Tuesday, two people were killed in three separate shootings.
