Driver charged with drunk driving after pedestrian killed in Fort Worth crash, police say

A driver faces a charge of intoxication manslaughter after a pedestrian was struck and died by a car in Fort Worth early Saturday morning, police said.

Police said the driver, identified as 23-year-old Alexia Monica Lopez, was arrested on a charge of intoxication manslaughter. She was booked into the Fort Worth Jail at 1:20 a.m., online jail records show. It’s unclear if she has an attorney.
