Fight leads to shooting at Midtown apartment complex, Atlanta police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Two people ended up in the hospital after a fight ended in gun violence Thursday night.

It happened around 11:15 p.m. at the Modera Midtown Apartments on 8th Street near Williams Street. Police said a 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were visiting a friend when a fight broke out, leading to gunfire.

One man went to the hospital alone, the other was taken by ambulance, according to police.

Atlanta police and Georgia Tech police are investigating.
