Two injured in crash involving police vehicle in North Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A police officer and another driver are injured after a crash Wednesday morning in North Las Vegas.

According to the North Las Vegas Police Department, the accident occurred at around 3:15 a.m. at Simmons Street and Gowan Road. Police determined that an NLVPD patrol car and another vehicle were involved.

The officer responded to a theft call with lights and sirens before the accident.

Both the officer and the driver were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
