Car break-ins have been reported in Needham – NBC Boston

Police in Needham, Massachusetts, issued a public safety alert Saturday after at least six cars were broken into and another vehicle was stolen.

According to Needham police, the break-ins occurred overnight in the city. The stolen vehicle has since been recovered and another vehicle was found in Needham that had been stolen from a neighboring town.

Police are asking anyone who has video footage and may have seen people walking in their driveway to contact the Public Safety Center at 781-444-1212.

Residents are also reminded to lock their vehicles at night, take valuables with them and always report suspicious activity. According to police, most suspects got in and out of a vehicle in less than 15 seconds.

“If you see anything, be sure to call us immediately,” police wrote in their Facebook post.
