1 dead and 1 injured after shooting in Jeffersontown

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – One person is dead and another is hospitalized after a shooting in Jeffersontown Tuesday night.

J-Town Police Chief Rick Sanders said officers were called to Palmetto Circle around 8:15 p.m., where they found a man and a woman shot to death in a car.

Sanders said the two people were sitting in their car in a parking lot when another vehicle opened fire. The man was shot multiple times and died before he could be taken to the hospital. The woman was taken to the hospital where she is expected to survive.
