Shooting at Irving Wingstop leaves one dead and one injured; suspect in custody

Irving, Texas – Irving police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a Wingstop restaurant.

The shooting occurred Monday afternoon at the restaurant location at Nursery and East Irving Boulevard.

According to Irving police, one person is dead and another was hospitalized.

The police were able to arrest a suspect.

The police did not disclose how the suspect and the victims knew each other.

No further information was immediately released.
