Mobile Man Arrested for Multiple Rape, Sodomy and Sexual Abuse: Court Documents

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – A Mobile man was arrested Thursday on multiple sexual assault charges, according to court documents.

Thomas Eric Burnside, 41, was arrested after charges were filed against him in March 2024.

Burnside is charged with first-degree rape, second-degree rape, second-degree sexual abuse, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree sodomy and second-degree sodomy.

According to Mobile County Jail logs, Burnside was posted a $145,000 bond and remains in jail.
