Toilet paper, cigarettes, speakers among stolen items found in north Houston

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office arrested a group of five burglars whose robbery went haywire near the 1500 block of Aldine Bender.

Equipped with a sledgehammer, a tire iron and a crowbar, the thieves made off with items including speakers, cigarettes and toilet paper.

The eclectic mix of stolen items made for an amusing discovery for HCSO. The unidentified burglars were quickly apprehended and the stolen items were recovered.

This incident reminds us that crime doesn’t pay, especially when your loot includes toilet paper.
