Buffalo’s Fall Bulky Waste Collection Begins the Week of July 28

Buffalo’s fall bulky waste collection will begin the week of July 28 in the Ellicott District and continue in other districts through the week of Sept. 29, Mayor Byron W. Brown announced.

Brown advised residents to put their trash out at the curb on Sunday of collection week. Collections will occur Monday through Saturday, not necessarily on the day regular trash is collected, he said.

Bulk waste piles must not exceed 12 feet long, 3 feet wide and 3 feet high.

Electronic devices, such as televisions and computers, construction debris and tires are prohibited. Tire collection days at Broadway Garage, 197 Broadway, will be held on July 13 and September 14, with a limit of four tires per household.

Bulky waste will be collected during the following weeks: Fillmore District, August 4; Niagara District, August 11; Masten District, August 18; Lovejoy District, August 25; Southern District, September 8; Delaware District, September 15; Northern District, September 22; and University District, September 29.
