Double shooting on Bourbon Street leaves two injured, police say

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The NOPD is investigating a double shooting that occurred on the 600 block of Bourbon Street that left two people injured Sunday evening (June 30).

Police say the incident was initially reported at approximately 7:01 pm, and authorities confirmed it at about 7:18 pm

Both victims sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to a local hospital by EMS.

Details regarding the victims’ conditions and potential suspects remain unknown as the investigation is ongoing.
