Peach picking near Atlanta: Peach State delivers fruit to peach farms | Mommy Poppins

Picking peaches in Atlanta just makes sense – after all, Georgia is the Peach State! It seems like every street has “Peachtree” in its name; heck, the fuzzy fruit is showing up on our license plates. Peach picking near Atlanta occurs from mid-May to early August, although the schedule may be affected by issues related to weather, crop health, and more. We are fortunate to have access to some great pick-your-own peach farms near Atlanta. Beyond peach picking, many Atlanta farms also offer fun, family-friendly activities.

If peaches aren’t your thing (blasphemy in Georgia, but we won’t tell anyone), try blueberry picking, strawberry picking, or visit another great pick-your-own farm near Atlanta for some outdoor fun air.
