One dead in shooting near Merion Village

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person is dead after a shooting Tuesday night in Columbus’ Karns Park neighborhood.

According to a Columbus police dispatcher, the shooting occurred around 10:47 p.m. in the 1000 block of Parsons Avenue near Marion Village.

At 10:51 p.m. the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were unable to release any information about the suspects or provide any details about what led to the shooting.
