Man shot overnight in South Lansing

LANSING – A man was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound early Tuesday morning following an incident on the city’s south side, police said.

Officers were called to a hospital around 1:30 a.m., where the 36-year-old man was treated for a gunshot wound to the arm, said Jordan Gulkis, Lansing police spokeswoman. She described the man’s injuries as non-life-threatening.

Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the 2300 block of Reo Road near Risdale Park, Gulkis said.

No one has been arrested in connection with the incident. No further details have been released.
