Cassie has broken her silence after a video emerged showing her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs attacking her in a hotel hallway.

The 37-year-old model and singer said she will “always recover from my past” and urged her followers on Instagram to “open your hearts to faithful victims the first time.”

It comes after that Footage obtained from CNN Earlier this week, she was shown being punched and kicked by rapper and record executive Combs in a Los Angeles hotel hallway.

The CCTV footage from March 5, 2016 shows combs Dressed only in a white towel, he beats his then girlfriend and his protégé.

The R&B artist, who was in a relationship with Combs from 2007 to 2018, said Thursday: “Thank you for all the love and support from my family, friends, strangers and those I have yet to meet.”

“The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self where I can now feel comfortable and safe. But this is just the beginning.”

“Domestic violence is THE problem. It made me into someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I’m better today, but I will always recover from my past.”

“Thank you to everyone who took the time to take this matter seriously. My only request is that EVERYONE open their hearts to believe the victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to speak the truth from a situation where you were powerless.”

She added: “I extend my hand to those who still live in fear. Reach out to your people, don’t cut them off, no one should carry this burden alone.”

Earlier this week, Combs – also known as P Diddy and Puff Daddy – said the video footage was “inexcusable” and that he was “disgusting.”

The footage also shows the rapper pushing and pulling the singer – real name Casandra Ventura – and throwing a vase in her direction.

Raids followed on the 54-year-old Houses in Los Angeles and Miami by Homeland Security Investigations agents on March 25 as he faced a series of public allegations of physical and sexual violence.

Raids are coming the rapperThe properties were part of an ongoing federal investigation into sex trafficking in New York.

According to NBC News, Sky’s US partner broadcaster, three women and one man were questioned by federal officials in Manhattan in connection with the investigation.

The investigation includes additional allegations of sexual assault, solicitation and distribution of illegal drugs and firearms.

Combs has denied all allegations.

There have also been several recent lawsuits filed against the record executive for sexual misconduct and other offenses.

In February, a music producer claimed that Combs forced him to recruit prostitutes and pressured him to have sex with them.

Combs’ attorney responded by saying, “We have overwhelming, indisputable evidence that his claims are complete lies.”
